Virtual Mobility Report – February 2025 Hosted by Söke Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi, TürkiyeIn December 2024, our partner schools came together online for a two-day Virtual Mobility, led by Söke Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi in Türkiye. This exciting event brought together students and teachers from five schools across Europe:

📅 Day 1: Teacher Training – Innovative Education MethodsThe first day focused on professional development for teachers. Educators took part in an online training session led by Turkish science teachers, where they explored two dynamic educational models:Kolb’s Experiential Learning CycleScrum methodology (adapted from agile project management)The aim was to introduce fresh, student-centered methods that can be applied during upcoming project mobilities. Training materials are freely available under the Creative Commons license (CC BY 4.0), so all schools can use and adapt them in their classrooms.
🌱 Day 2: Students Lead the Way – "Our Climate" CampaignOn the second day, 25 students (5 from each school) participated in the Virtual ENVIROS Club, a student-led session on climate action. The training helped students understand the causes and effects of climate change, and how they can raise awareness in their own schools.Students worked together to begin designing the "Our Climate" educational campaign, aimed at encouraging their communities to take small but meaningful steps to protect the planet. The host school also emphasized eco-friendly practices, such as using recycled materials for campaign materials.
